Leadership Racine Community Trustee Award
The Leadership Racine Advisory Board has established an award to honor a person who actively exemplifies the characteristics of a community trustee by demonstrating a commitment to our community through his or her leadership and service. The Community Trustee Award has been presented to the following individuals: 2003 - Jean M. Jacobson Former Racine County Executive (1995-2003) 2004 - Gabriella Klein Retired business owner and community volunteer 2005 - Jess S. Levin President/CEO, Bank of Elmwood 2005 Posthumous - James M. Turek President, Village of Mount Pleasant 2006 - Bill & Mary Walker Chairman, Walker Forge, Inc. and community volunteers 2007 - Joseph E. Mooney President, Harbor Fest Board of Directors 2007 Posthumous - Charles W. Bray Former President of the Johnson Foundation (1988-1997) and Founding Board Member of Leadership Racine 2008 - David L. Maack Former Alderman, City of Racine District 5 and Leadership Racine Class of 1999
2009 - Michael E. Batten Chairman/CEO, Twin Disc, Inc.
2010 - Roger Caron Former President, Racine Area Manufacturers and Commerce
2011 - William L. McReynolds Former Racine County Executive (2003-2011) 2012 - Jim Eastman President, Merchants Moving and Storage Company
